Ain't no mountain high enough

Yoga meets snowy mountain. In late September, I was lucky to join my dear friend Antje Wever from W-report for their first retreat “AIN’T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH” and the title couldn’t have been more fitting. After checking into the Goldene Rose in the Schnalstal valley, doing yoga twice a day at the clubhouse, and following hotel owner Stefania along the Silentium Gang (the “Path of Silence” a former monk’s route) to take us mushroom hunting, we headed up to 28000m -right INTO THE SNOW. We went on an expedition to see Olafur Eliasson’s amazing land art sculpture, ate the best dumplings, enjoyed the outdoor sauna, and slept in red and white checkered beds at the Bella Vista Hut where you can book a room with bathroom in the hallway or one of the 4 new rooms with ensuite bath. There we stretched and chanted in the little AWE hut & treated ourselves to sauna & snow bath. After this much needed four night-long retreat our hearts (& bellies) were full. And yes to all that have asked, we’ll do it again. Check out the next W-report retreat in May in Tuscany.
